advice and injections.
MISSED
APPOINTMENTS: Unlike other professionals, we do not charge
for missed appointments, but rely on you to cancel unwanted appointments.
Missed appointments mean truly ill people may have to wait longer to be seen,
aswell as wasting valuable time and resources. Patients who continually
miss appointments will be removed from the Practice and asked to register elsewhere.
Hay fever?
To
avoid pollen ,try the following:
1)close windows at home and in the car
2)wear
sunglasses to avoid pollen getting in the eyes
3)avoid going out if possible
in afternoons when pollen count is highest
4)take a shower and wash hair
after going out to get rid of pollen
5)check pollen forecasts in the media
Treatment of hay fever includes anti histamines which can be sedating or non
sedating. These come as tablets and liquid. Nasal sprays can also help,as can
eye drops. Ask your friendly Pharmacist for details. Also remember, if you don't
pay for prescriptions, some local Pharmacists can give you the treatment for free
as part of the Minor Ailments Scheme (ask Reception for details)
Drs.Clarke, Eagle, Banerjee, Holland and Kelly.
